Alex has been obsessed with playing football lately. So now that football season has started we have the games on nonstop here and if you have ever seen Alex play football along with a game it is a riot.  Anyway, he now tries to actually understand what is going on, so his dad has been helping him learn the positions and some plays (Alex especially likes to be QB and run the option).  He and Alex use his toys (things like Winnie the Pooh and Bugs Bunny) to set up the offensive and defensive line and run plays.  Tonight his dad was trying to see how much Alex remembered so he would point to a toy and say "who is Bugs"...and Alex would say Quarterback or whatever then his dad goes "who's froggy" Alex  could not remember so dad told him "that is the running back"....then Alex points to Goliath (the lion), who is positioned as the wide receiver and goes "daddy Goliath is the catching back" and proceeds to run him out for a play. 

Oh, and if you are wondering what Kyle does during all this...after the play is made and all the toys or "players" are lying on the field because they have been tackled Kyle picks them up and throws them across the room...I think we may have another QB on our hands or maybe he wil be our star pitcher.
